The Speak Out event today at the Flying Brick was great. I don't know how to say it without feeling like I'm being cliche, but it's experiences like tonight where I feel that true solidarity is possible. Thanks everyone for coming, and thanks to the artists that performed and shared their experiences with everyone. Mad props (possible pun intended there) to everyone that had the courage to delve deep into their psyche for this event.

We made $94 tonight! We'll be using this to fund our Speak Out zine, Coping Skills zine, and for future events.

Thinking we should get together, hang out, and talk about what our next goals as a group can be. There's talk of us planning a mental health awareness festival over the summer. Who's down?
