Come out to the Richmond Zine Fest today to grab some mental health-related zines from the Icarus Project and Mind(ful) Liberation Project! We'll be tabling from 11am-6pm at the Gay Community Center, 1407 Sherwood Ave.
We've been working hard over the past few months to bring you great zines, stickers, handouts, and other goodies from all around the country. Everything will be $5 or less so bring your bucks and your smiling faces!
We will have copies of Icarus Project publications, including the new Coping Skills Zine, Harm Reduction Guide to Coming Off Psychiatric Drugs, and Friends Make the Best Medicine. We also have tons of stuff from Sascha, other folks from all over the U.S., and the work and zines of some local authors and artists (our own Icaristas!).
RVA Peer Support will also be joining us to offer grab bags for Mental Health Awareness Week which includes mental wellness screenings and other information.
