1) The Vera Project (DIY hosted) Skill Share with the Olympia groups collaboration.

Fun events such as; movie night, nintendo nights, potlucks/bbq, outdoor events, bowling, workshops, Anime night.

*Set Meeting Schedule.

The support group will be meeting every wednesday night at 8pm alternating between the U-District and Capitol Hill.  Calender with exact dates coming soon!!

The Activist group will meet once a month.  That date is still to be determined.  

The reason for separating these two groups is to keep a steady focus and to allow for a more confidental support group.  When we first started having meetings it was difficult to do both during a one hour time period.  Also, people did come just to participate in the activist work that The Icarus Project is so known for and ending up feeling a little uncomfortable with the personal sharing aspect of the meetings.  So by having two different meetings we allow for everyone to feel comfortable and offer a safe space for everyone as well as having more time to accomplish radical changes in our community!
