great opportunity to look back in time, when did we check in with
people, track where info and publications materials go,

it to be -- doesn't have to be based anywhere, molly and mimi can have
same permissions to access database. centralizing distro in nyc, have
access to materials for care packages, satellite distro also good

michael -- madness radio interview was really great. very cool, whole
format -- to be wherever you want to be over the phone, speaking into

how do we decide who to recruit? getting new people as stipended
mimi -- we still need educ/outreach co-collaborator with michael. need
to talk about process of who that person is.
michael -- talked with sasch and mimi, wants to help with job desc,
needs feedback from everyone, what should be in job desc. making it a
public process much same way mimi was hired. also heads up

molly -- looking outside, getting more diversity. but also feel strange
posting this like a real job. so much of this is a labor of love. not
like a real clock in clock out job. don't want to see stipend as main
reason. we all need livelihood, but weird to post as traditiional
employment, it's technically not.
michael -- agree but all it means to me is hiring process has to be
taken seriously, weed folks out, look for right person, give heads up
to. been involved in nyc for a while and people in role like this have
stepped back, maybe not permanently but not sure if they want to step
back in. not a large pool to choose from in icarus in nyc.
mimi -- we can in hiring process -- it's not b+w -- not either labor of
love or just clock punch. you can say specific things in job desc like
collective, non-hierarchical, i came because there was $ involved, but
not here just for the $.
