BMad notes -

Using TIP vs. IP (THE Icarus Project)
Radical honesty and active listening
Concentric centers of support taken further in recognizing the inherent 6-sided-ness in spoked circles. Think about having six mods, six working groups, a stabilizing sixyness.

10 day countdown to 20/20 airing

Web -

Moratorium on registration except to post intros
Getting the funding bit into the registration section
Have a privacy button to only be seen and read by registered users

Blogs only viewable to registered members

Be really honest with the people who are coming. Have one week, here's some directions, poke around, read stuff - with registration opening after one week.

Blogs should eventually be optional to be open or reg.users only. Some people use their blog to get the word out.

Updates on the front page

Having Jonah, or someone else, write up a FAQ for the front page based on the mainstream response to the Newsweek article.

Pro-choice, harm-reduction, peer led, radical mental health on the front page as a tag line? Using more of our stipended time on the site, to be visible, during the next month.

Annie and Will re-wrote the Icarus Mission Statement and posted it recently. If there's consensus and feedback on that soon, it can be incorporated more quickly than the FAQ.

Input and get consensus on the About Us and Mission Statement language, then it can be implemented on the site. Any revisions done by Friday.

Hiring process -

Phone interview at 3 - 4:30pm Tuesday, 25th Mimi and Annie will send out a summary over the weekend to figure out when the phone interviews will take place. Aiming to come to consensus on Wed call.

Meeting w/Kiran -

Sunday is to figure out what we want out of our time with Kiran. What are our goals. Also, what are our expectations of her role, timeframe, stipend, etc.
