Aby and Will of Freedom Center met with lawyers, legal advocates, activists and survivors from across the US at the annual National Association for Rights Protection and Advocacy conference, held in Baltimore, Maryland. Icarus and Freedom Center organizer Leah Harris received a standing ovation for her incredible keynote address about being locked up as a teenager, and Aby and Will presented a workshop about the legal advocacy work of the Freedom Center called "How Lawyers Can Be Allies. Leah talked about Icarus in her speech and launched a youth initiative in NARPA to provide some balance to the baby-boomer generation NARPA leadership.
