Circle Around the Sun

a young girl is spiraling into dust
who has seen the intangible
in rhythms of strange orange ribbons
spiraling into heaven
it has forever been mistaken
by the old folks in carousals
as the most beautiful angel
circling around the sun.

She once was taken captive
by the moon, you see
and suspended by the stars
in perfect symmetry
Could love have her heart for
The odd circle that was spun
That forever sent Him
circling around the sun.

The flowers were so white
In mornings she felt blue
And wondered about the right
Or which one belonged to her
While they twisted flowers in their hair
He was neither here nor there
For love, it had not begun
He was circling around the sun.

the crowds were cheering screams of laughter
in the eyes of a pale man with black hair
who mourned the body in the river
he's finding her revelations in song
And wonders why it took so long
the bird beats a wing upon the sky
As each morning she wonders why
He is circling around the sun.

Rooms get switched for faces
the sadness in the mirrors smile
her porcelain eyes painted genuine
in a vision so unclear, she wonders
why isn't she the one
circling around the sun.

She wants to know herself
Can't give her love to someone else
embracing while bracing for the truth
while his soft candor is strained
her eyes no longer seem so tamed
he seeks her portrait's fame
the girl who has but one true name
He loves her though she's not there
as he circles around the sun
in the most peculiar splendor.

 Med-Free Day 11 :)

Life has been going very well. I am med free and symptom free at last. It is a big deal for me. I know I am not just getting my hopes up. I have really outgrown the schizophrenia. I am also taking Niacin now.

I'm getting a book published! I am just waiting to hear back.
