Since my last post was about some of the depressing images from my youth that are holding me back, I want to talk about some of  the inspirational images that keep me going now.

my mad prayer:

My father, who makes art in the forest, beloved be thy name.  The advent of chaos: may this force always remain on the artist's horizon line, in turbulent seas, while peace envelops my mind.  Give me this day to make bread and butter sense, and forgive me for everything, and let no one be blamed for my disease.  Lead me not into a mental hospital, and deliver me from an institution if I wake to find myself barricaded in white.  For ours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory for as long as we stay true to ourselves.

I hope this "prayer" can help atheist, agnostics, and believers alike find comfort in their own sanctuaries of sanity.
