The human figure represents Jane, my wife, in the state between sleep and wakefulness, surrounded by (or made of) some of our many pets. While it depicts what could be the subject's dream-state, it came out of free association on MY part. The small architectural image on the middle-left was an attempt to anchor the dream in the "real world." After it was finished, Jane commented that it looked rather like her childhood church.
