Aubrey Elliott lives and works in Montreal.  His diagnosis of bi-polar in 2005 came during an extended period of seperation and eventual divorce from the mother of his two children.  He came east seeking new beginnings and the refuge of family.  The artist is sustained by earnest hard work, many loving friends and his fascination with all things photographic, though his restrained hatred for digital could hardly be considered restrained.  Pictured is Emma, daughter of 4 years, who lives Olympia, WA with mother and baby sister, Dorian.  Original print made from cross-processed Kodak slide film without use of filters and printed on archival quality paper.
