What does the RPT button do? The "report" button is at the top right hand corner of any post. When you press the RPT button, it takes you to a screen asking for your comments and you can fill out why you are reporting the post. All of the moderators then get sent an email stating which post was reported and why. We urge all users to help moderate the site to make sure discussions stay respectful and spam is removed promptly.

How do I post pictures?If you have pictures already online at a storage site like Photobucket or Flickr, just copy the address and paste it into your post here. Similarly, if you see a pic you like on the web, right-click it and select Copy Image Location and paste that here. (It'll be like http://www.123.com/pic.jpg) Then highlight that (by click-dragging over it) and click the Img button that's in the row of buttons above where you type. That will put image tags before and afterward. You could also just type the tags "[img]address[/img]" but without the quotations. 

(Note: It is generally good etiquette to copy a picture from a website to a hosting site that you own or a site like photobucket so as not to use other people's bandwidth)

For pics that are only on your computer and relatively small (under 256 KB), you can just attach them to a post. Underneath the box where you type, there's an area that says Add an Attachment. Click the Browse button and find the pic you want on your computer. Then click Add Attachment. 

For both methods you can preview your post first to see if it worked

How can I change my username? When you sign up for Icarus, you are asked to pick a username. That username is associated with your email address. So when you want to change your name, you’d need a whole new account. However, we do make exceptions. If you would like your account name changed, please contract one of the mods or administrators.
