Bug Reporting

If something looks weird, loads funny, is misspelled, or doesn’t work in any way, please let us know!

Submit the following to [email protected]:

1. What browser were you using (safari, internet explorer, foxfire, mozilla, etc. what version if you know. like, Internet Explorer 5.1) and whether you are on a PC or a Mac.
2. What url were you visiting (so, if you were on the community support homepage, you would report https://site.icarusprojectarchive.org/community/)
3. were you logged in? if so, what is your username?
4. Describe what you were trying to do (load a page, log in, etc.) and what happened that seemed broken.
5. Give the bug report a very brief title, like “won’t save to file repository” or “broken link” or “can’t save description on support group page”. Use this as the e-mail’s subject.

Here’s a sample bug report

Bug: Can’t edit my profile.
Browser: Safari, on Mac
User: logged in as IcarusUser
Url: https://site.icarusprojectarchive.org/community/members/IcarusUser/edit
What happened: tried to change my address. It didn’t save the changes.
