Poem: Curvature of Space
Submitted by kilsoquah on Wed, 09/23/2009 - 2:44pmcurvature of space
finally she heard the singing bowls
over all the noise
in the city
the jets stopped screeching as much
overhead,
you heard children laughing more
instead of screaming
still there is longing
for places where we are not
and people we have not quite met
yet you're still alive
we just had thousands of lifetimes
flash before our eyes
you were starting over
and now the forest is all around you
here at your desk
it doesn't take much
the trees just like our company
they find their ways to talk to us
