Walking Down

Time to wonder, time to wait
Thirteen eyes that look away
The rain smiles, it beams with pride
Love comes easy, he says 'I guess' why?
The leaves curl in laughter
As oceans sink into the deep end
The world begins to scatter people
Red ashes begin to sleep, they're sleeping in
the phoenix flies over her only kingdom
A house above the clouds oh well
Alice balances over the rainbow
Before she melts under pressure
like the witch of the east, you know
I can't weave those fucking spells.

The Center Line

I opened a box that held the skies
Blue and porcelain much like you
I found a spinning girl inside
She wasn't sure what she should do
You emptied out your pockets
But I could only see
I strange contradiction
No one noticed it was me
Or was it me? I'm not sure
I looked around for awhile
But I guess I'm just a little girl
So I walk down the road
With a bag of empty shells
And I wonder what went wrong
What made heaven into Hell
I guess it was some kind of reason
That was hard to tell.
