work plan written, and job desc easier to do. co-coordinator position will focus on campus icarus w/other stuff optional. getting this out soon.

molly - is this a co-coord btwn two people or is it split btwn coordinators, w/one on campus icarus? need to be open with others collaborating, figure out how to work together to be each others' backup

michael -- co-coordinator orig thought to be one person, now it's two w/campus icarus added. bc campus icarus in there with it's own tasks, but rather not to be totally separate, need to work together. we do have to hire a new person -- that makes it difficult, so we focus on campus icarus as job desc

molly - what if job is framed as 2 separate coordinator positions, both on calls, etc but that ed/outreach is primary michael, secondary to support campus icarus, campus icarus job is primary to them, but also support work of ed/outreach - work this into job desc

michael -- this is how i saw it, going to articulate it on job posting

sascha - what are steps to hiring? important to collaborate and work together and be supportive

will-- good to break it down into specific needs, easier than talking in general and nebulous - i.e. writing job desc, advertising, recruiting person

sascha -- nasco workshop, grant report

will -- also fundraising for icarus for summer

sascha -- open to this, good to bring up

molly -- michael has put together work plan for ed/outreach. let's get this sent out today. what s can do is pull out task responsibilities affiliated with campus icarus grant and laundry list them, pull together, get them to molly today, try to get this post-able for idealist, craigslist

mimi -- michael sends out his notes today, molly works on draft of job desc by tomorrow night, then we'll ok it, send it around to coordinators

will -- need workflow on this, who answers emails that come in - could be a ton of responses

molly -- also need close date and target date for interviews

NASCO

will - nasco a good opportunity to dovetail work of grant proposal needs, also dif working groups like support network, ed outreach, media-ubs -- fit them all together, funnel people in

sascha - working with nasco makes a lot of sense to put things together

will - best to get general support $ coming in rather than earmarked for specific projects

sascha -- sounds good. nasco needs proposal by july 22nd, fill out application, send 2 people who'd then develop workshops in general. great for molly and michael to go

molly -- can't afford to send everyone who wants to go -- need to send longtime committed people. personally molly limited time avail, want someone from ny to go with michael, 2 people on the ground. kieran has limited time but interested in curriculum development, also maybe local person but not pay for whole thing bc not inexpensive

michael -- would love to be there. 2 people

molly -- anyone else in ny who might be good?

mimi -- need people to volunteer as co-signers for bank account
