The Icarus Project collective began when Ashley and Sascha met and started touring, sharing their experiences and sparking dialogue about mental health. Today the Icarus collective staff travels around the country and even internationally to help out at community speaking events and discussions, as well as offering skillshares and trainings.

We have years of experience with such topics as group facillitation, community organizing, dealing with emotional crisis and extreme states of consciousness, providing effective emotional support, and conflict resolution. We're also skilled with computers, grantwriting, music, and wellness tools such as gardening, music, yoga, art, nutrition, and acupuncture. Icarus is also developing peer counseling trainings and trainings on community organizing for radical mental health.

If you want to invite us to your community or you want to join a training, we work on an ability to pay basis, which means that whether you haven't got any money at all or whether you're part of a funded organization or school that can afford to pay, we'll work something out and help in any way we're able.
