Too late to go to bed, too early to be awake
Submitted by Sillymud on Sat, 09/01/2007 - 6:32amIt is 3:15 am. I don'tg know why I am still up. I took my normal otc sleeping pills at 9:30pm. I have had a stressful week at work and was hopeing to get some rest. I have also been trying to write for a while but either my thoughts are raceing or I can't find the words to what I am going through.
I have been off of meds for over a year. I am working full time and trying to get through school. I am not doing that well. I have been crying on and off for most of friday. The pain from stress at work. A stupid guy at work trying to get me fired or just make my life a living hell.
I also just started school this week. I am taking three classes. Yes, it's a lot on top of working full time but i need to get through school.
Wrong place to ask.... :-)
.. people like me who are inclined to reply are doing so way way past midnight....and the folk who may know anything have been sleeping for hours already. (Psst: Should we wake the 'em up and ask? :-))
Strangely enough I'm finding nice warm bright midday sun knocks me out in no time...
Try this nifty meditation to handle the nidjit at work. Close you eyes, think of the Nidjit, plaster on a calm buddha-like expression on your mug, now stretch a Nice Big Smile (you may need your fingers for that.) Practice several times. Imagine you are laughing deep deep inside, so deep that all that comes out is a big toothy chesire cat grin.
Try it on him tommorrow... Remember Calm face, Big Smile. Maybe with some teeth in it. Like a fox laughing silently.
Totally creeps 'em out.

I am new to meds and so I would like to ask how long you were on medicine before stopping them? I wish you the best, by the way.

I was on meds from dec 2002-feb 2006. I had a rough time trying to the right cocktail. Never really found something that worked.
