Looking for radical anti-psychiatry, instead of radical mental health?
We might not have funding, flashy graphics, glossy literature, or any of that fancy stuff, but what we do have is a few dedicated individuals working to expose the clear unvarnished truth about the "Mental Health" system, and we are allways looking for more, more personal stories, more comics, more carefully researched exposes.
We are AgainstPsychiatry! Perhaps the name says it all...

Thanks for articulating yourself. Glad to see your website. What about doing a discussion forum? There are a slew of free discussion forum boards around; maybe we could work something out with some anarchists i know and get a board that protects the privacy of posters more than usual...?
Anyway, i happen to find discussion forums valuable.
Duncan Double, of the UK runs a forum on his critical psychiatry site (which used to be an anti-psychiatry site, btw), but it is CHOCK FULL of spam, and he never seems to edit that shit out, nor is he easy to get ahold of it seems, unless you say you have a PhD or something, heh.
Did you see my posting of the magick of the Wayback Machine? i can get you the link (i posted it on the icarus forum, i forget where), and when you go to the link you can read lots of interesting posts from years ago which Duncan Double no longer has on his website. Might be a way to begin a forum, or perhaps at least a blog for your website?
As for art, i do illustration and caricatures professionally, and i'd be most GLAD to give you stuff to put up. i've got some old peices i did with Tom Szasz's basic insights in mind, which you can see at my blog: radicalizedhuman.blogspot.com (scroll down to the bottom of the page for 'em). Feel free to take those and put them up on your site (tho i'd make a link to these large files rather than putting them up directly; if you make a thumbnail of them that would make the most sense).
Well, i'll make a note of your site, and definitely take a read!
It does seem like a good idea (to me) to try to have others participating, or to at least publish comments made by others from the past, and so to possibly get more participation. If that's what you'd like to do.
Finally, i have a listing of anti-psych info that i can give you, to add to your list, if you like.

Yes, I would definately be interested in setting up a discussion forum, or something like that, on againstpsychiatry.com. I self taught myself enough html to start the againstpsychiatry site, but I am not really all that computer literate, and I don't know how to make that sort of more complex stuff happen, so yeah, I would be very interested in getting some assistence from folks who do. I would want something which is really simple and straightforward, and which I would be able to keep track of and maintain, so as to prevent SPAM and other such problems. I do not sign on to The Icarus Project blog or discussion forums all that often, so the best way to get in touch with me is to allways just to email me at fritzflohr@againstpsychiatry.com Next time I update the site I will add a piece of your art, and I would love to link to your blog/site too if you are interested.
